Bubbles

30 on 30 part 2

I think its been a a few days since my last post on our 30 day challenge  of 30 days of fun.  We had to skip a few days for our move. Which we are all unpack now its just finding a place for everything that is a pain. Mickey our cat has not come out from our bed in three days. She is hiding from everything and everyone. Today she is back to her crazy self terrorizing  the boys jumping all over the place like this morning when I walked into the kitchen  she was on top of the refrigerator. She came out of nowhere I about had a heart attack.

Day 5 its all about bubbles. My hubby and I had to fix our screen porch while we did that we took a brake to play football, bubbles and fly. I pick Christopher up and swing him around like he is flying then we act as if we are dizzy. He loves it! I'm really happy we have a bigger backyard its nothing compare to our acer we had back home but it will do.(I miss Michigan) We are already talking about a garden. Justin and Christopher have a blast playing in the dirt  when we set up. Here are some pictures  from yesterday. How was your weekend? What fun games and activities  did you do with your kids?

Moving Again

There are a few tips you should follow when moving. First always have the car packed well with toys, books, games, dvd player, movies, cds and stop for coffee.  Don't follow to to closely to the car in front be prepared to stop at anytime.
I admit I have fallen off the wagon the coffee wagon. This past week has been crazy Monday we looked at a dozen houses. Tuesday and we signed papers. My wonderful hubby stayed two nights to work on it to get it move in ready. Our new house is two hours from Tampa. I packed up the house running on NO sleep because I can't sleep when he is gone. Hubby shows up Wednesday morning with the Uhaul truck we pack up the house while my oldest was at school. We are pack by 2:30 pm just in time to get him from school. We head to our storage unit for the rest. Stop by the post office for change of address forms, the bank,711 we stop to eat and fill up the tank on the road by 8pm. I don't like to drive at night but it was okay. There weren't a lot of people on the road. A smooth hour drive Christopher is sleeping.Justin and I are jamming to some old school,Shinedown,Rihanna and Britney. The second hour I spent listening to talk radio and sob stories on the request  hour. I'm on my second cup of coffee from 711 and Doritos. It's 11:13 pm as we drive into our driveway.
It's the most beautiful site I have seen in awhile as I get Christopher out of the car. Stars are everywhere they are huge. The big dipper is right over our house. I haven't seen stars like this in almost two years. My father lives in the U.P where if you turn off the porch light  you are swallowed  up by the stars. It's kinda of freaky when you are surrounded  by woods on 40 acres of land. We put our boys in the master room so we can unload the truck. My hubby grab me by the waist kissed my forehead we stood there taking in the moment at hand. We stand there talking about the constellations. I love looking at the stars. My hubby goes to the other side of the truck to show me something. I follow only to hit my leg on the back of the truck. We haven't even begun to unload yet. I'm laughing to stop myself from crying it hurt so bad. My hubby is rubbing my back laughing asking me if I'm okay. I try to walk it off but my leg feels like its broke. I still have a 26 foot truck to unload. With every step I take I feel the pain. I dont know how but we had the truck unloaded by 1am. I bypass  hitting my head off the top of the  garage broke all my natural nails trip into the kitchen found a bug outside the size of my toddlers hand. That freak me out! I'm not a bug person. It's been a year since we moved to Florida I still can't get use to the bugs on steroids. The house is a mess the garage  is full and the truck is unpack its 1:30 am by the time we hit the bed to only have to wake up by 7:30 am to drive back to Tampa to return the Uhaul truck. It saved us $400.00 dollars doing it that way instead of returning it down the street from us.
Morning hits I have to drag myself out of bed pour a glass of water on my hubby to get him up. It wasn't a lot of water but enough. Trust me it was the only way to get him up. He wasn't as mad as I thought he would be. I'm really sweet only evil when I have to be. I guess its the Mexican that comes out. It's 7:49 am by the time we hit the road for our two hour drive back to Tampa. On this trip I have to avoid slamming into my hubby big white ass meaning the Uhaul truck from going 70mph to 20 mph because on the other side of the highway  a car is on fire. Of course we slow down because all the stupid  people are looking instead of driving being nosey. We sit in traffic for 20 minutes then we start rolling I'm coming off the on ramp when the car in front of me is at a dead stop. Thinking to myself this is great we are going to die! Traffic is heavy I put the pedal to the ground to beat the cars coming up on my side. I look in my rearview mirror to see if the car is still on the on ramp yes it let four cars go before they did. People need to learn how to drive. I'm exhausted  along side my hubby we make it to the Uhaul place drop the truck off. My hubby slams a five hour energy and buys a monster I have a full cappuccino  this time. I was looking for a place that sold Cuban  coffee. That will wake you up in a minute No doubt! It's like taking a shot of pure caffeine. I have to talk to my hubby the whole way back home to keep him awake for two hours. It wasn't that hard because out of the blue Christopher starts vomiting turns out to be a 24 hour bug. I change him twice by the time we get home he is naked.  We both are running on no sleep by now. I don't advise this with us its never let's plan to move it just let's move today kind of thing. It's always been that way on a tight schedule . I'm safe to say I won't be driving anytime soon and we are on our last move for at least five years or more until we find a house with property  for our farm. Be safe today my readers. Have a great day live it up to the fullest.

YMCA

30 on 30 Part 2
Day 3
Sunday we didn't do to much but movie it out since everyone in the house seems to be sick. We all watched FX that had tons of great movies on like Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, A-Team and Tron. We watched the  UFC Fight:Silva vs. Stann from Saturday night on DVR. It was an overall cuddle on the couch kind of day all four of us was in real need of some family time to just relax. As much as I love them I really hope I don't get sick. I can handle a house full of sick people but I can't handle myself being sick. It always seems to be followed by a headache from hell. I have downloaded an app VIGGLE on my phone it gives you points for watching TV. Then you can redeem them for gift cards ect. I'm not sure if it works or not but hey why not try.
Monday
Day 4
We went to the YMCA for some family basketball. It's the only way my little one will go into the kids zone without crying. I won't leave him crying I can't do it. It seems so mean when other parents do it. I just want to pick up the kids that are crying because they are scared. They just want some love. I even made a worker mad by asking her if I could fill out the book to sign in so she could pick up a 6 month old who was crying. I wasn't leaving until she did. That's just me I get myself into trouble by doing that. When Justin was born right after I went back to work in retail. A customer was just letting her little baby cry. It went on for a good ten minutes I couldn't take it besides I was nursing and had to go change my shirt. If you have breastfed a baby before you know what I mean. I walked over and asked her "If she was going to pick up her baby because if not I was going to." She looked at me without hesitation said "Sure pick up the brat." I was in so much shock I picked up the baby and held her until her mom was done shopping. People!!!

Christopher wanted to race so we did as you can tell from the picture. The other people in the gym must have thought we were crazy. It was a lot of fun. However that was my cardio for the day. I still hit the bike for 30 minutes and it was legs and back. I can't get my oldest out of the gym he loves basketball to death. He would play all day if I let him. I love watching father and son play they are so competitive with each other. It's all fun and games never over the top. We always want our son in whatever sport he takes up to be fun after all it's just a game. After 3 hours at the Y it was time to go home for a movie night with the family. We all have sore throats its horrible. I don't think running around made it any better either. What did you do today for 30 on 30?

Board games

30 on 30 part 2
Saturday
Day 2 with Justin: Board games
My son Justin has a collection of board games like monopoly, chess, guess who and battleship. I just named a few of the ones he loves to play. It's never one game unless we are playing monopoly which can take days to play. The last time we played it took us four days before I had to sell my properties. My hubby and Justin still had another day of it. Here they are playing checkers.

Day 2 Christopher:
Mommy and me classes
Christopher has a blast with these classes. They are a little of sit down and stretch  in the first five minutes which Christopher has no interest in so we run around until Ashley  starts class. It's more of a gymnastics  class for toddlers. Daddy even gets involved in our class. I think we have more fun rolling around on the ground showing Christopher what to to then he does.

Animal hoarders

I have today off to work on my book. I came across the show animal hoarders. Two stories one man has 19 pitbulls and a two year old daughter. His name is Shane who lives with his momma and sister. He steals money from them has full custody  of his little girl who doesn't support her which the mother of the little girl was married to someone else at the time of conception . His two pitbulls  ate his sister's cat and killed his moms dog. They are on a 20 foot chain on his property. That is no way for a dog to live but Shane says he is doing God's work. He blames his behavior  on the fact that when he was 7 his parents divorced. None of the dogs can be around each other.

Second story lady named Sharon  has a house full  of cats and no appliances  due to the cat using  the stove as a toilet. I think you know where I'm going with this. The house is full of feces  it needs to be demolished. She still owes 50,000  on her house. I have one cat and can't stand the smell of urine. Cat urine  is the worst in the world to smell. I don't know how this woman lives in her house. Sharon's daughter  talked her into moving out and surrendering  83 cats. Sharon and her hubby skip out on their medications to buy cat food $600.00 worth. They qualified for a veterans housing. She blames her animal hoarding  to her father not loving her.

I don't understand animal hoarding at all. I'm sure someone out there knows a crazy cat lady. I love animals but I wouldn't take it this far at all. My children come first unlike the man Shane above I mean that is crazy. Those dogs need love not just a place to stay. Two ate a cat I'm sure they would have no problem munching on his daughter for a snack.

                                     WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?

I mean sure when your parents divorced at 7 it was hard. DUDE, you are now 30 get over it and move on. Be a father to your little girl go get a job and man up! Sharon you are in your late 60's let go of the past please for your health you need to stay cat free. I'm sorry animal hoarding is a choice not a disease. People excuses these days kill me. No one takes any kind of responsibility for their actions anymore. They always blame someone else. Everything I have done in my life I have taken responsibility for them good and bad. That includes what you say as well. I hope both Shane and Sharon can get better but they have to realize they need to fix themselves.

You have to love yourself before you can love someone else.
You have to take care of yourself before you can take care of someone else.
You have to have a job before you take a person/animal in your care.

What are your thoughts on this subject?

Rock Wall

30 on 30 Part 2
Day 1
I took these pictures of my 9 year old who loves to take adventures anytime he can. The YMCA is a great place to spend time with your children. I took the pictures of him in the red last week but the one in the blue shirt is from today. When we lived in Michigan he like to go to Gibraltar Trade Center where his passion took off. It was the summer after he turned four years old. He likes to do anything new and fun. He saw the rock wall and instantly wanted to do it. He did and he made it to the top not once but three times. The next morning he complained about his belly hurting but it didn't stop him from doing it again and again. My hubby and I are very proud of him. No matter what he may want to do in life like rock climb we will support him. I always tell my son if you put your mind to it, you can do anything your heart wants.
He is a pro at it now. Its too cute to hear him brag. " I have this mom it's a piece of cake." Even better is hearing him telling the kids who have a hard time that there is nothing to it. His encouragement with his words are amazing for his age. Nothing new to us our son has always tried to help others to be there best. He is growing into a warm, kind, helpful and generous pre teen. I guess my hubby and I have done a great job so far. I don't see my son changing in this aspect. We love you Justin very much. Never give up honey the world is yours to conquer.

A New Lift!

This is the best piece of workout equipment That I own. It shows you a ton of stretching routines you can do. Like the first where you lie on your back and roll the roller up your upper back for 30 seconds. I love this one especially after a upper back workout. It's the best the day after to loosen up your muscles. I don't like all of the stretching it shows some of it really hurts. But it's worth it for my back.

30 on 30 part 2

I read a post last year on how parents don't spend enough time with their children. I know I'm a stay at home mom so that isn't a problem but I do work from home. I have taken the boys to go clean a fish tank which they love but bad for business. It worked when Christopher was little not now that he is a rambunctious two year old. I simply don't see that it is fair to have my 9 year old take care of him while mommy is working. I know lots of parents stick their kid in front of a television or drop them off even when they do have time for their kids they choose not to spend it with them. My hubby and I are not like that. I think if you can spend 30 minutes a day for 30 days doing something with your children it will change your point of view of how important it is to spend time with them.

Here is the Challenge February is almost over so let's start March 1st of day 1 of 30 on 30 challenge.
It can be playing games, talking to them doing something they want to do as long as you spend 30 minutes a day with them. Please leave comments and tell me what you did that day. My son and I as we walk to school have a habit of breaking out in a random dance. It's cute makes him laugh that's all I want is to see him smile. Christopher loves to play hide and seek with us no matter what time of day it is he always wants to hide before one of us including the Mickey the cat finds him.Just hearing him laugh and smile is a blessing in itself. Check out 30 on 30 here are some of my favorite ones

Exercise Ball Workout

This workout is a beast for your lower abs. First you get down as if you are going to do a push-up with your feet on the ball. (as seen in the picture) Then you lift your leg one by one as you balance yourself so you don't fall over. Be sure to keep your belly tight to protect your lower back. Make sure you use good form to feel the results. I did 20 reps at 3 sets. Have fun and be safe.

Lie on your back with the exercise ball between your legs.(As the pictures shows to your left) Squeeze the ball with your feet lower the ball down and bring it back up. Touch the ball and start counting or you can take it (as the second picture shows) I also did 3 sets at 20 reps.  If you want these can be two separate exercises. You don't have to go crazy with how many you can do. If you get to 20 - 25 that is more then enough you should start feeling it by now. Switch it up the only way to a six pack is variety of your workouts you do for your stomach.

This workout is the same as above you are just on your side. Now you will be working  on squeezing your legs and butt together to get your obliques the best workout yet. I did again the same reps and sets as the other two exercise 3 sets at 20-25 reps. Only lift as high as you can don't over do it as you can cause strain on your lower back. Make sure you squeeze your legs together to get your oblique engage. It will also work your inner thighs.

This is all about Balance here as you can see from the picture. It is just a regular crunch just on the exercise ball. Go down and come back up I stayed with 3 sets at 45 reps. My abs were on fire this morning at 5am.

Photo My road to a six  pack by October 2013 is hard. I'm not going to lie it is much easier to do nothing. I love looking at myself in the mirror everyday to see the changes in my body. I can now start to see a difference in my  arms and belly. It just motivates me more to keep going not to mention the great support I get from my hubby who has been my personal trainer. We lean on each other but at times I hate him because he pushes me to the point of no return when working out. I love it!

ViSalus

I have a few questions to all of my reader's who has heard or tried this product called ViSalus?
 http://visalus.com/promoter-portal/home

My hubby and I have been thinking about this 90 day challenge on ViSalus.

You can pick your kit like this one which is the

ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE kit

There are many more to chose from. I like that you can custom it to your body. I'm 100% happy with the way I look now compare to what I looked like a year ago with all the extra baby weight still on.
We have been working out eating right and juicing for a few years now. We are also very active as individuals and as a family. I have just found out why I'm not losing any more weight due to my sugar intake. It seems to put my body on hold by keeping the weight on. At first I thought there may be another baby Needham on the way. Sorry to disappoint my hubby I was not. Not that I wouldn't want another baby I just don't want to get fit to be fat again like I did with my second son. In fact we just talked about that this past weekend that we want another child but we would rather adopt a little boy or girl around our oldest son age which is 9. A big step to give a child a loving home. A plus at least I don't have to get fat to have another child. There is a lot that goes into that. Another post for now I would like to talk about this new shake. It makes more sense to spend money on ViSalus than $170.00 dollars at GNC every three weeks which in fact has a high sugar amount in the protein shakes I buy. What I am interested in is anyone who can give me some insight about this new product. Have you taken it? Do you like it? Have you lost any weight on it? My hubby and I will be selling this new improve shake very soon. It's more or less just another business adventure we are willing to try. We are willing to try new things especially when it can benefit us in a healthy way. Your body is your temple you have to take care of it. If you think you may want to try this please email me at cottonpatty@yahoo.com you can also visit my facebook page with your thoughts or comments about VISALUS at www.facebook.com/placesintime

The Gasparilla Invasion

Some random people we later seen at the bike show. I asked If I could take their picture. He was drunk his wife I'm guessing held him up.

Pirate Invasion in Tampa bay. Sounds like fun and kid friendly right? Wrong anything but kid friendly as my hubby and I found out after we paid ten dollars to park, thirteen dollars for chicken fingers and I guess what was chicken pita wraps that came to thirty dollars with drinks. It is a place to get wasted or drunk to your bones can't stand. I wouldn't want to forget the half naked women with signs that say" She wants to have her cherry pop because its her 21 st birthday." I just sugar coated it for you the words of the real sign made my hubby fall over. It was that bad. I'm so glad I can read fast enough to step in front of my nine year old before he had a chance to read it.
Let's add to this in the first half hour we were there. You have a bunch of church going people holding up signs talking though a speaker of God's words. I guess they thought a bunch of drunk half naked people would want to save their sins that day! I'm not sure how many people took them up on that offer. I do hope it turned out well for them.

The best part of walking back though the one million people starting to pour in the streets of bay shore was the deep fried snickers and oreo's we spent another thirty dollars on. This time it was well worth it. They are not very good for my get fit plan but hey It was my cheat day. Just look at these they will make your mouth water.

We were all very pleased with our treat. As we stuffed our face with all the goodness we came up to the ship of Gasparilla in the bay.

He attack the bay now Tampa celebrate it by a get drunk all day festivities. If this is what you look forward to by all means have fun. I think next year we may move my mom down so we can take a walk on the wild side with the half naked drunk pirates. Overall this is a adult event so keep the kids at home. If you would like to know the whole story click on the link below. It's very interesting.

Bike Show

This weekend after our Gasparilla event we heard about a bike show. There were lots of awesome bikes. We seen the blues brothers with an awesome band beforehand that played some old rock. I haven't heard since I was little. I think that is one thing that I have kept going from my childhood is the love of music. Justin and I danced in the streets with the rest of the people that were there. My hubby and I rocked back and fourth signing. It was a lot of fun as you can tell from the video. If I can get it to post.
I  encourage  my hubby to buy a bike of his choice. Which he did I'm really happy he is happy! I guess you can call it an early wedding present from me. I'm awesome I know. My hubby is adrenaline junkie. It's so hot!! I can't wait to say I Do to him again later this year.
My Hubby's New Hayabusa Motorcycle
Our boys painted their hands on a bed sheet that is getting sent to our troops. Which I thought was a very thoughtful idea.
We picked up a jacket for my beloved hubby.
The night was completed with fireworks. We met a tattoo artist that will complete 14 hours of artwork on my hubby's back soon. I don't know if I will be present for that. I'm a worried that will shy me away from getting mind on my shoulder. We had a whole lot of fun. My hubby made me laugh so much my face hurt. We have never been happier!

My cat might be a dog

Mickey is the most lovable cat I have ever known. She likes to cuddle. She will climb under the covers and lay her head on my pillow. It's like having another kid in the house. If you drop something on the floor you can be sure she will take it and run. I find my hubby's socks all over the house. I yelled at him to put his stuff up come to find out it was Mickey who was stealing them. She plays hide and seek with the boys. If the kids run she will chase them. She is the only cat I know who will run in a circle after her tail. Before Mickey lays down she will walk in a circle three times beforehand. Turkey is one of her new favorites. She likes to steal your food right when your fork hits your mouth making you think it really wasn't there. (Laughing) If you try to fold clothes she will play tug of war with you growling. I don't think that is to funny when I try to put away the clothes I just spent ten minutes fighting her for are now on the floor. She waits by the door for us to come home. When I try and leave Justin and I have to fight her to get out of the stroller. She thinks she is going. Another dog trait she has to show how much she loves us is by licking our face or hand. My cat I have come to realize is a dog in a cat suit. She has a mind all her own.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. Martin Luther King, Jr.

My son and I take the time out every year to talk about Martin Luther King Jr. I believe if he was still alive our world would be different in a huge way people would view things in a whole new light.

I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear. Martin Luther King, Jr.

A Day full of fun

We decided to take our boys to The  Florida Aquarium. As you walk in you come up to a large tank filled with sting rays. When we were in Panama City Justin touched a sting ray a few times. Both my hubby and son caught many of them fishing but let them go. Today was my first time touching them. I have to admit it took me a few times before I put my Hands in the water. When I did they felt slimy. It was weird yet calming. Our adventure today was amazing. We sat in front of this tank with sharks and tons fish it was breath taking to view these creatures up close. At that very  moment looking over at my boys holding my hubby's hand I realized how bless I am in my family and life.  Living here in Florida has been very easy. I believe it was our best move yet.

Afterwards we took a drive looking at some of the most beautiful houses here in Tampa. I think I found my dream house. We found ourselves at Hogan's Tampa Beach
Restaurants. If you have ever watch wrestling back in the day of course you know who Hulk Hogan is. Turns out he was at his restaurant the day before. The food was good more of a seafood/ beach meanu. Things here in Florida are different like a man walked in half naked while a woman took off her shoes to eat and another one came in without shoes. That would never fly in Michigan. It seem to be more of an adult atmosphere with an outside bar. A place you could play volleyball and it was connected to a hotel. It has been awhile since I had to let someone else park the car with valet parking. It was nice just like I expected with valet parking. It was the same as in downtown Detroit when my hubby would take me to the casino. Which we did often when we lived in Michigan. I still had a fantastic time yesterday. It was amazing to just let go of the week before. Our boys had a blast we ended the night with a movie.
Resident Evil: Retribution was a little intense but you have to watch all the ones before to get this one. A little werid in the start of the movie. Just go pee beforehand or put on pause to make sure you get all the information. It was a all around fun filled day with my family. I loved every minute of it!

Talking Birds

Watch "Smart Talking Bird" on YouTube

African Grey Parrot

The African Grey Parrot, also known as the Grey Parrot, is a medium-sized parrot found in the primary and secondary rainforest of West and Central Africa. Experts regard it as one of the most intelligent birds in the world.

My hubby and boys are interested in getting a bird of some sort that talks. Cockatoo is number one their list these days. I have had my share of birds when I was younger. Like a Cockatiel my mother purchase for me when I was 10.  I love birds they are just a lot of work like any animal. It seems like it would be a great idea. At this point with work,my intense workout plan on top of bring a mother might not seen to be the right choice for our family. I however don't put it pass my hubby bringing one home. He does that every now and then. Wish me luck!

http://anymorethenawhisper.blogspot.com

This was very wonderful for you to nominate me. It was unexpected for sure. I do however have to tell you I'm sorry it took so long to write. I don't get on bloggers.com that often anymore. Let's get into the details.

1. I live in Tampa,Florida.
2. I really enjoy making my boys laugh when we have to take pictures. That's the only way I will get a real smile when I ask for one.
3. There is a confession I have to make. I sometimes watch Good Luck Charlie on Disney when my boys are at school. The mom on there is a hand bag of crazy!
4. I have a goal of getting a six pack by my wedding this year.
5. I don't like business men on bikes that wear a tie. They try to run you over on the sidewalk. They need to slow down. Crazy people!
6. I do research daily on questions my 9 year old might ask.Since the other day he had ten penis questions  for me along with why women have a cycle, kids that are disabled, sex, people picking on others and why people chose to love the same sex. All one question leads to ten more. It's insane how smart he is. I answered all the questions open and honest to his age.
7. I work on acts of kindness daily with my family. This is something we hold dear to our hearts. We love helping out when we can.

Here are my wonderful 7 I have  nominated for this award. I visit daily to hear their input about life.I hope you can take a peek at all the hard work these bloggers put in. I hope you enjoy them as I do.

Strawberry Blast

1 cup of strawberries
1 cup of soy milk
A little bit of honey to taste
A dash of cinnamon
A little dash of  pumpkin spice but not to much unless you like it. Sometimes it can be a little overpowering. I make this shake all the time its yummy and very soft after a evening workout. I just thought I would share. Goodnight my readers.

Delicious Sugar Snap Peas

Today for breakfast my popsicle and I are enjoying these sweet crunchy vegetables which can be a delicious side dish or main. Snow peas are delicate yet crisp, with a mild, refreshing flavor. Raw, they add a welcome crunch to salads. Which is my favorite part of a salad.

Sugar snap peas are loaded with vitamins. One serving provides a whopping 90% of the RDA of Vitamin C, which helps boost the immune system and prevent chronic disease. One serving provides a good amount of other essential vitamins as well, including Vitamin A, thiamin, riboflavin and niacin.

I'm a little disappointed with the fact people watching their sugar intake should keep in mind that sugar snap peas contain a relatively high amount of sugar, with about three grams per serving. I only have sugar in my tea if we go out to eat. It gives me a very strong headache. I cut sugar out of my food intake over three years ago. I will have watch how many I eat. One delicious food to add to your list for The New Year.

Total Green Machine

3 carrots

1 granny apple

2 baby limes

4 stalks celery

4-6 hand fulls spinach

1-2 Brussels sprouts

half a handful of cilantro …

The thing with me and juicing is the stuff you know you will not touch otherwise like Brussels sprouts. That's why I like the smoothie king and this get fit juice shop down the street from me. I drink it and walk away its really the best of both worlds. Our whole family has been on this get fit daily routine since we moved to Florida. More so now then back home. We are a fit family anyways. We are always in some kind of sport or outside biking. Jogging has been our newest added item to our list. As a family we run two miles from our house. Tonight we will be at the ymca to workout. It's great to be able to share this with my boys. It won't be a challenge to stay healthy as they grow it will be natural.

Homemade Beauty Secrets

Here are a few quick tips for all the ladies who spend way to much on makeup. Did you know the average woman spends about two thousand dollars a year on makeup? I don't think I have ever spent that much on makeup in my life. I'm more of go all natural kind of look. I do use mascara, lip gloss and eye shadow person but not all the time. It takes me about three in a half months to go though mascara even longer on lip gloss. To be safe I will toss them every four months.

Lip Gloss
Take your left over eye shadow you have or those samples you pick up from time to time. Add some vaseline and BAM you have homemade lip gloss. How great is that?

Dry Shampoo
I have tried this a few times I didn't care to much for it. Dry shampoo is a in between for washes.  If you use it this product can become a big expense. Try this and compare it to the store brand. Take baking soda, baking powder, and cornstarch together put it in a shaker and shake onto your roots.

Bronzer
This is one product that I do use in all year round. Take a little cinnamon or cocoa powder mix with baby powder. To get a darker shade just add a little more of the cinnamon or cocoa powder which ever one you decided to use. The plus side is that my hubby tells me he can't stay away I smell too sweet.

Toner
Take some rose petals in a pot boil them for a minute or so. Strain the petals leaving the water. Poor it in a spray bottle. It's great to use to set your makeup or just after you get out of the shower. I have used it to spray on my bed linens. The smell is amazing. Toner returns your skin's pH back to normal.

Face wash
It has been about three weeks that I have traded in my apricot scrub for a baking soda scrub. All you do is take a handful of baking soda before I get in the shower with a little bit of water enough to make a paste. I will coat my face wait 30 seconds and rinse. I find it easier to rinse it off in the shower because it can get messy. It will make your pores much smaller. It will also give you a healthy glow. If you have other homemade beauty secrets don't be shy share them with a comment.

Savannah Cat

Watch "A Beautiful Relationship - Savannah Cat MAGIC and Andreas Stucki." on YouTube

This cat in the video above is the size of a small dog. My hubby and I have been looking at getting one in the near future.

A Savannah cat is a cross between a domestic cat and the Serval, a medium-sized, large-eared wild African cat. The only problem I guess I have with this cat is becoming dinner. It's huge compare to my cat now. We are talking about taking a trip to Oklahoma. We have found a breeder there. Justin is in love with this cat as well as my hubby. After Christopher was born they were trying to talk me into getting a tiger.  I'm glad this cat is far away on top of that you have to jump though some small hoops for this cat. Otherwise it would have been a total impulse buy. Do you have a Savannah Cat?

Circus In Tampa

IMAG0191.jpg
Ringling Bros B&B Circus came to town. It was the first time as a family to visit it. It was a wonderful time. I haven't had so much fun in my life. It was very different from the small ones that were back home. It cost $155.00 for a family of four Christopher was free plus parking. The place was packed full of life. I still can't believe we spent more on food and drinks then we did on tickets. It's insane but well worth it. The cotton candy was delicious! My hubby came back with a sub that tasted like a Sloppy Joe without the Joe. Christopher ran back and fourth between the seat laughing at nothing and dancing. He has music in his soul!

http://youtu.be/uAxB4iMAs3A

The Acrobatics were extraordinary the best I have seen yet. Some well most of everything they did at the circus put me on the edge of my seat. The only part I really didn't care for was the tiger part. Don't get me wrong the tigers are beautiful especially the white tigers.

I don't think yelling at the tigers swinging a whip in front of their face is something to cheer about. Yet, I paid to see it along with everyone else. If you stop to think about it for a second I guess it's up there on the scale of being cruel! Which I am not so I didn't get into that part of the show. It's neat to see how they black out parts of the ice rink to set up the next act. Justin was amazed by the whole thing. Christopher only sat still for the glowing necklace we gave him. If I would have remember to grab the glowing hair and toys from New Years Eve we would have save some money not like a ten dollar necklace was going to set us back. From all the pictures we paid for with the food we spent more then our share.

SAM_7698.JPG

Here are my men happy as can be. They were nothing but a bunch of silliness that night. My hubby looks like the choo choo soul guy from Disney. He is too sexy! Our drive home wasn't far maybe ten minutes tops. We were all thinking we had an hour just a guess. If you have ever been to anything in Detroit you know what I mean. We also had a well deserved date night after we put our boys to bed. We rented the movie "LOOPER" With Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt it was about time travel and yes that is all I will say. This was a movie that will make your head spin with what time travel can do. It's a must watch on my list or a more like a Needham approval.(laughing)

If you want to have some good family time make sure you hit up the Circus when it comes to your town. Until next time have a great night to all my wonderful reader's.

Product Reviews

Review One
Olive Oil
My hair is shinier, healthier and stronger thanks to olive oil. I sprayed some on my hair today before I flat iron it. I couldn't believe how it looked. Some simple stuff like olive oil who would have known? I use it to cook with daily.Would have never thought of putting a few drops in my hair! Amazing a Needham approval. (Laughing) It is a little greasy so my advice is just a little bit.

Second product review

Neuro Trim

This I guess its new. I have never seen it before its a diet drink I seen in 711 claims that it is a thinner you in every bottle. A fiber based formula that is a healthy weight loss. It suppose to curb your appetite with 35 calories 9 grams of sugar. I seen about five different ones. I went with hunger management in the purple bottle. I had it for lunch with no need to eat till about 7pm. It did its job just with one complaint from me its a little sweet. It may be just me I seem to have a problem with sweet drinks or food. Other than that I enjoyed it. I will however try the others as well. If you have had any of these let me know what you think?

First Night 2013

Across the bay, St. Petersburg is hosting its big, annual alcohol-free First Night event starting around 5 p.m., with kids' activities at the Pier and events all over downtown St. Petersburg. There will be two sets of fireworks at both 9 p.m. and midnight. Musical acts include Suite Caroline and the Vodkanauts on the main stage. Admission is $12 for adults and $6 for children.

We took the boys for the fireworks but there was so much more to do. It's a carnival/ art fair all in one. We ran across a man who played the drums on five gallon buckets. His name was Chris Harris. He was awesome! I never seen anything like that before especially when he drum one handed. Tons of arts and crafts for children to do like making hats and what not. We stop by to watch the ballet dancers then I sweet talked my way into the Imax Theater to go pee. I had a $20.00 Cappuccino that was awful . I had to settled for that instead of a hot coco. Our waiter looked at me like I was crazy I guess he would after I looked at the  menu $70.00 for a plate I would look at someone the sameway. It's  funny to see how people react in different states. We made a new tradition this year instead of eating 12 grapes and walking around in a circle with our luggage. My favorite of course  wearing white to bring in the New Year clean we wrote down a New Years resolution and a bad memory then burned it. We came across the parents of the lady who put the night event together. I guess this is the third year running. We all liked it very much. 2013 will be the best one yet. I would have never thought our family would be where we are today this time last year. My hubby and I were in downtown in Detroit,MI last New Years Eve. We will continue to live our life to the fullest. It's a no holds bar this year. Happy New Year everyone.
