Turn Facebook Purple

Hello, I have something to ask of everyone out there. I started a cause with facebook to turn it purple for the month of October to Stop the cycle of Domestic Violence.https://www.causes.com/actions/1692135
I believe by talking about it many more people will seek help or at least know that are worth the effort. No one deserves to be hit for any reason. Please take a stand with me this month and everyday after to be an ear to someone who needs you to listen. Please don't judge them even if you can't understand what they are going through. Instead of telling them what they are doing wrong help them take the step to the phone to call a local shelter to help. Domestic Violence Hotline at 1−800−799−SAFE

Please don't let this be an image a child you love sees daily. The sounds of screams coming from the bedroom will last a lifetime in the mind of a child. Please help stop them from becoming an abuser as well. The bruises you see above will fade but the emotional pain will still be deep in your heart. I have left some links at the bottom please help today. Most of all LISTEN you may be a woman's only hope.

We should not keep silent about domestic abuse. But many domestic violence not reported because of feelings of helplessness, fear and shame. The only way to stop the violence is to break the silence. I am in!

That is very true and thank you please share to get others to follow. We need to let women and men know this is not how love feels.

I can not speak much about violence, especially concerning domestic violence. Because I was the victim. To all of them I hope that does not do domestic violence, trauma obtained by children was very dangerous for their future.
