What's important to you?

I have seen this on Facebook many times. I have to say I'm very lucky and proud to be married to a man who doesn't do this as you will read. Our boys don't have to pay or ask for their father's time they have it all day long. My hubby works very hard to keep up with daily events in our boys life. He is always playing with them whether it is with Christopher playing hide and seek for hours or with Justin surfing and legos is a hit in our house.  NO matter what it is he is very much part of everything our boys do. He will find a way to work it out with work so he doesn't miss anything in their life. He is an amazing father! He is more then I could have ever want in a man who is the father of my children. No matter how tired he may be or sick no energy it doesn't matter he will be there for his boys. If they want to go someone he takes them no matter what it is.   He will sit for hours with Justin talking about his idea's for the future since Justin loves to make and create things. My hubby can't draw but will sit and try while Justin draws. Christopher loves to act like a plane and fly around the house with Daddy at his side. My hubby loves to spend his time with our boys. I have never asked or begged him to spend time with his children. He does it because he wants to they are the reason he lives. He once told me that he physically hurts when he can't be with them. He never gets mad at our boys for anything. Our boys will always know they are loved no matter what.     Justin always says "Daddy is my Hero!" Their father and son bond is unbreakable!
A loving Father.

SON: "Daddy, may I ask you a question?"
DAD: "Yeah sure, what is it?"
SON: "Daddy, how much do you make an hour?"
DAD: "That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?"
SON: "I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?"
DAD: "If you must know, I make $100 an hour."
SON: "Oh! (With his head down).
SON: "Daddy, may I please borrow $50?"
The father was furious.
DAD: "If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such this childish behavior."

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think:
Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $ 50 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

DAD: "Are you asleep, son?"

SON: "No daddy, I'm awake".
DAD: "I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier. It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $50 you asked for."

The little boy sat straight up, smiling.
SON: "Oh, thank you daddy!"
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.

DAD: "Why do you want more money if you already have some?"

SON: "Because I didn't have enough, but now I do.

"Daddy, I have $100 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you."
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness. It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $100 worth of your time with someone you love? If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family and friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family.

Some things are more important.

More Movies part two

The list continues I think I'm on movie 4. I like movies but some should never be made like this one. Beautiful Creatures it starts off slow and continues to be slow. A little action here and there now I'm a witch fan. I guess I was hoping for a movie like the sister witches in Practical Magic. That movie had a great story line/ love story attached to it. I liked it a lot five out of five stars it's a ten for me. Then again I'm a Sandra Bullock fan. Now for a movie that will shock your pants off and put your mind in a buzz is the movie Nicole Kidman did "EYES WIDE SHUT" with her ex is Tom Cruise(FYI not a kids movie lots of nudity)

Beautiful Creatures not so much I mean Lena will either be good or evil on her 16th birthday and can make a dinning room table spin. Please any woman with a attitude can do that on any good day without magic. Five out of five starts I give it a big fat zero. Not worth a dollar so don't waste your time just my opinion.

Movie 5: Hansel and Gretel
If you remember the story line it has been told to you many time as a child. The story was meant to keep kids away from strangers and out of the woods. An old folk tale as you will just like that with a little darker twist. However I don't think it's a kids movie.I liked it a lot I still think if someone makes a movie Justice League Jeremy Renner should play green arrow.

Movie: 6 Snitch with Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock is an awesome movie but you have to be willing to sit through it. A man tries to save his son from staying in jail in return he has to bust the Mexican Drug Cartel. Not an easy task but if anyone is up for a challenge it's the ROCK! It's a sad/happy intense movie to see the lengths a parent a father would take to save his son. I would do it in a heartbeat if I had to. I think most parents would do just about anything and beyond to save their children. The Rocks get beat up. I know I was shocked myself. It deals with two families his and the life he had before with another woman. Putting his wife and daughter in harms way to help the police and his son. This is a must see movie again not a kids movie. I loved it!

Movie 7: Escape from Planet Earth
This is a cute kids movie that tells a story of a family mission. It's a kids movie all the way around. My boys loved it so five out of five stars. I caught bits and pieces of it running around trying to clean and sleep since Christopher has been waking up in the middle of the night with a fever since Wednesday. Popsicles, gatorades, and water has been of our best  friends besides the bubbles baths taken at 3 am. We should both be a fish by now since Christopher's likes to pull the cat in the tub and I have to fish her out. Would of advice a cat with bubbles on is not a good look when she looks likes she is going to attack me. Thank God she didn't no people were harm in drying her off.
Escape From Planet Earth

Movie 8: Broken City

Another bad bad and very bad movie that should have not been made. It was a total waste of money for sure. If you know politics there is no need to watch. I was upset that Mark Wahlberg played in a movie like this. He can do better much better like "Shooter." Which this movie is nothing like it. A city cop gets dumped on because he was just the right person to take the fall for some low life loser with power.  I'm glad I didn't go to the theater for this one!

Movie 9: Promised Land

Yet, again another sad movie with a story of a big company buying land from a small town to build on. Yes, It will bring jobs but at what cost? This movie is just an updated version of Julia Roberts movie "Erin Brockovich" just Promised Land was a Promised Not. Not worth a dollar as least Julia knows how to put people in their place. Like in this clip
I would have let the lady drink the water before I told her where it came from. People like that need an eye opener sometime. Let's be Honest we all know someone like that.

I have to say I love this movie instead.

Movie 10:  Spiders

Last movie for today as you can see we have been on a movie thing for a while. Not much to do when children are sick and want to be held 24/7. I needed the break anyways who doesn't. A dumb movie that makes you think what someone could do with alien spiders. I just hope it doesn't come to that. Just not with spiders in this movie it sounds like Godzilla with eight legs. No joke Godzilla for real walking down the street. My boys liked the movie again not me. They like bugs not me. I mean it's the hubby's job to kill and create a murder scene when the pre-historic spiders here in Florida come out. Yet, It always seems like they come out when I'm home alone. I'll be screaming as I try to kill it. Kind of reminds me when Justin was one there was a mouse that got in my Mom's house. My sister was trying to kill it with a broom as it ran back and fourth behind the TV like it was playing a game. My ass was on a chair yelling out where it was at then she would hit it like the game at Chuck E Cheese. (Laughing) Some of the best times I swear! This was a bad movie!

Movie Reviews

Christopher has been up and down with a fever all week so we made it a movie week. Red Box must love us but we don't love all the movies. The Great and Powerful OZ had a great story line kept to the movie I grew up with The Wizard of OZ.

I have only one complaint no Dorothy and too long.  I guess that would be two. However if you have kids it's worth watching. It's a cute movie that is funny. I rented the old version to compare which made for a great conversation that lasted the rest of the evening with Justin. He is the master of questions and idea's of how the movie could have been better.

Movie 2: Venom
Venom DVD

Okay this movie was dumb there is no other way to put it. Our boys like snakes I don't know why but they do. Bad story line and bad acting not worth a dollar.

Movie 3: Side Effects

It was date night my hubby and I rented this movie one it has my second hubby in it Mr. Channing Tatum. He is a hottie! It's a great story line of being addicted to drugs. The ups and downs it explains a story so you have to pay attention to it. If you have to pee pause it or you will be lost. It's not what you think from the previews. All the actors are awesome in this. I just wonder if it was hard for Catherine Zeta Jones to play her part since she is bipolar in real life. I heard she was in treatment not to long ago. Without giving it away it's a must watch movie. I don't I have ever seen Rooney Marie who plays the wife/sick one in the movie in anything else. I have to say she plays a great sick person! Makes you think that's for sure.

Looks like I just ran out of time Justin has a basketball game today. Wish him luck he won last week 32 to 24. It's not the point he won but he had fun playing.

Update:  Justin's team won 33 to 28 they kicked butt. All the kids did the main part all had fun and pictures today.

Father's Day

With our conflicting work schedules I wasn't sure if we would see the love of my life on Father's Day. I was already sad missing my dad back in Michigan. I talked to him all morning which made me feel better.  This is one of my favorite pictures with my Daddy. He is the one in the black coat. He is awesome! He welcome my hubby with open arms and talks to him more then I do. Steve adores him I think it hurt him more then me on Father's day not being able to drive to see my dad. If we move back to Michigan it would be for my dad. My hubby is still trying to talk him in to moving to Florida or maybe Arizona so we can all be together.

We took our boys to the Cocoa Zoo. Here are some pictures from our trip. We walked into the bird exhibit with a cup of food and six birds landed on my hubby. It was too funny while Christopher tried to grab or to him pet the birds. He got upset when they wouldn't come back to him. He did after all try to strangle the birds.  Justin had a blast as you can tell in the picture now he wants one for his birthday next month along with a small creature of some sort. His words not mind. Thinking maybe a lizard or some fish to go with our Michigan turtles we still have.  I think this was the best part of the zoo with the monkey at the bottom who is sleeping like a human. It was too hot to see the other animals. The boys however did get to pet a white tail deer. Seeing the boys pet the deer made us think about the deer back home who kept stealing our food from our garden. We could go out and water it while they stood a arm length away.

It was about 95 degrees outside when we left to the beach. Justin is getting better at surfing we have taken him out every weekend since his daddy bought it for him. Christopher likes to try and copy his brother. It's too cute!
I love going to the beach hearing the waves. I love watching my hubby teach his son how to surf. He gets slammed by waves trying to help Jay get up on the surfboard. He really is a great father! He hates the feel of sand but goes to the beach for his family. I have never been happier then I am now our life is perfect for us. He makes me laugh all the time. He is a riot sometimes. By the end of the day my cheeks hurt from laughing all day. Christopher wore himself out by running around. I think by the time we left the beach it was almost 8'o clock at night. We were their all day.
This is the second time they have dug a hole to China in theory. They dig and Christopher fills it back up. This is the time I get my tan on. It's peaceful to lay on the beach. I like the feel of sand between my toes I just wish it would fall off before we get in the car. I tried to surf myself which was a bad ideal. Talk about one thing I can't do right now but maybe in the future I can take a wave. It was amazing day I hope your Father's day was as good as mine.

Thanks for reading come back again.

Project Needham

I seen this on Pinterest so I made it. This is mind.
Here is the link on Pinterest.
Yes I took the tag off
I had a lot of fun with my boys. I love to garden they love to get dirty. They are boys who doesn't?Watering it is a task to keep the dirt from running over the sides. The key is do it slowly very slowly. The plants cost $8.00 at Lowes altogether I think I spent $50.00 total. I wanted to make the bottom pot bigger but my porch isn't that big in front of our house. This seems to be just right by my window. I can't wait till it grows out fully. I will also get a thyme plant to set on the other side I heard it will help keep mosquitoes away. Something I will have to try and see. Look for my review on it at the end of summer.

Here is my front door I'm not sure if I like it yet. I still like my red door from back home let's face it I miss my house from back home. Most of all I miss my garden we had it was huge. We just put shelves up in Justin's room he still doesn't know what color he wants to paint it.
I'm in the middle of working on this for my back porch. I will post pictures later once it's all done along with my garage that my hubby is working on as we speak. God knows what kind of idea's he has! Sometimes I think he is worst then me when it comes to projects and our house. If you have any neat idea's please feel free to share.

NO More

What is NO MORE?

NO MORE is a new, overarching symbol, like the pink breast cancer ribbon and the yellow support our troops ribbon, that is bringing together all people, organizations and communities that support ending domestic violence and sexual assault in our society.

I opened up my email to find this of course I joined the community. I'm 100% against Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault. I know a lot of women who have gone though this including my mother and myself. I was in a trap in high school. I was rape and beaten several times. I was in the hospital more times then I can count I even lost a child when I was 17 years old due to the beating my so called boyfriend gave me. Every time I tried to leave he found me every time I tried to disappear he found me. If you ever saw the movie ENOUGH with Jennifer Lopez. That was my life he just wasn't rich. He sold drugs and knew everyone so in turn they knew where I was at who I was with and what I did and with who. It takes a lot to get free from someone who hurts you. I was brainwashed from seeing it at home being so young at 15 when I meet the DEVIL himself who seemed like Prince charming at the time. There was no one  to turn to no one to tell me it's okay to leave.  Nothing I did was right nothing I said was right he always had an excuse of why he gave me a black eye or it was my fault he beat me till I was unconscious. The excuses never stop I tried to run away to Ohio but I only made it to Monroe,MI. I never thought my life would be different until I meet a man who stopped the Devil on the street from hitting me. A few years later the mysterious man and I ran into each other he is now my wonderful hubby of seven years. With his and another friend of mind I was able to see what happen to me wasn't my fault. If I would had stayed he would have killed me. The people who knew his friends his family the people who seen it daily in my high school knew he hurt me but no one helped but two. When two seniors took me aside and talked to me it started to make me think about LIFE itself. I didn't want to live that way and I didn't to much longer after that.  With the help of four people I owe my LIFE to. It's not easy to leave someone who hurts you. You are confused about everything. If you know a person who is in an unhealthy relationship please talk to them don't judge just listen and point them in the right direction. BREAK THE CYCLE.

If you ask yourself WHY
It's someone you know.  It affects everyone not just the person being abused.

Domestic violence can happen to anyone of any race, age,

sexual orientation, religion or gender. It can happen to

couples who are married, living together or who are

dating. Domestic violence affects people of all

My Household

Today has been a busy day for us. Justin cut the grass for seven dollars it would have been ten if he did all the front, back and sides.  He didn't do one side of the house then  negotiated his price. I said"yes to his offer."
He was too cute not to say yes.  We made slime today after lunch. Then showers are  a must.

We went to the park for some fun in the sun afterwards Ice Cream at McDonalds. They turned out not eating it instead played in the playground. I think we were there for awhile waiting for the storm to pass. It happen to be either McDonalds or a bar to get out of the storm. I thought the kids would like it better at the kids zone of fat. As you can see they had fun making all kinds of new friends. It never amazes me how quick my children make friends anywhere. It's great they have that gift. I still hate climbing inside those dame tubes.  A little shopping for projects at the house. Now my hubby and I will have a small movie night after our boys fall asleep. It has been a fun filled day. How was your Saturday?

Making slime I have done this before with my boys it's real easy. We went to the dollar store to get bottle white glue you buy for school supplies and small bowels. Make sure you get a few dozens bottles you may need them we used three. One bottle for one bowl and starch you can buy from Walmart it's in the laundry aisle. Just pour a little in the bottle with the glue and mix if it is to sticky add more starch to wet add more glue to get a mixture that is workable with your hands. It's a lot of fun to do. You can save it if you want by putting it in a plastic bag. It will hold three days. If you do just an F.Y.I you will need to add more starch to the mix. Have fun it is washable if you get it on your clothes just wash them separate from your other clothes.

I seen this on Pinterest what I did was while we were at the store I ran across these neat ice cubes trays that I put coffee in. I made coffee and froze it. I then filled my awesome Detroit Lions glass with almond milk. It was delicious! I think it was better then my ice decaf coffee I make is.
On another review about the baking soda shampoo and apple cider vinegar conditioner it wasn't for me. I used it for almost two weeks I couldn't handle it my hair was really greasy along with smelling like vinegar wasn't all what I thought going natural was going to be. Besides having sweat and vinegar in your eyes at the gym can really make a person mad. My hubby is all about helping me with the strange stuff that will help our family in the long run like home cold flu remedies, juicing, working out, body building, making things and nude beaches. He told me flat out to wash my dame hair. (laughing) I gave in because I couldn't handle it. I told him I was already on it.
Here is the blog post that shows you how to make it.
I have yet to make the hair gel because I can't find the flax seed she uses. I keep missing the Health food store their hours are weird.

The Back Door

I came across an episode of the Kardashians new season I have never laughed so hard in my life at Kourtney and Scott talking about the back door.

I tried to search YouTube to see if there was a clip for it but came out with nothing.
I did find another article about it with people's comments are too funny. They are strange for sure. Nothing on this show seems like it could be real but why not especially this was too much to say out loud let alone on TV. I guess if you are comfortable with yourself and your relationship NO holds bar right?  There is nothing to hide why not? I'm not sure if I would go that far to talk about that then again I'm working on a book that might be a little about this topic and more. Just not sure if I will use real names, pictures or not just a lot to think about I suppose. I'm an open book when comes to that topic just ask if I did it I will tell. I may leave out some juicy stuff which is meant for my marriage bed only. That topic is to much just rereading what I wrote is funny but hey. Take it as it is I'm proud to say I have only been around the block three times including my hubby. Not bad for someone who is 30.

Then Kris Jenner has her hubby move out because she let him have friends over. They were too loud for her. First of all how in the world do you LET your hubby do something he is a grown man. I find it funny how I hear this over and over again. Women just think they can tell a man what to do and they will jump. Then wonder why they fell and slipped into something else. (Laughing) Really not rocket science here people I'm just saying people need to be who they are. Don't try and change them if they want to change they will when they want to. I guess I'm just rambling today trying to do something then think about the rain that has stayed all week long. What are you doing today to past the time?

All time favorite movies

Last night flipping through the channels I came across of one my all time favorite movies "Tango & Cash." Did you know Patrick Swayze was to play the part of Cash. I'm glad he went on to play in another movie I love "Road house"

I don't or can't see him as Cash. However Mr. Swayze did a great role turn when he played in the movie "Father hood." You were able to see his funny side because up to this point I only knew him in the movie "Dirty Dancing" another all time favorites. As you can tell I have a lot of favorite movies like "Point Break"
Talk about two hotties playing in the same movie together. I think I was like ten when my dad and step mom took me to see this movie. Talk about a crush on two people.

To get back to Tango & Cash Sly and Russell are awesome in this film. I seen this when I was little I used to be in love with Mr. Stallone. Too funny thinking about it now but I guess it was a insight to what kind of man I would marry. My hubby is somewhat like him. Armani in a Suit! When I meet him that's all he wore but then I seen the handyman side of him which is hot! These are just a few old time favorites of mind what are some of yours?
They have awesome chemistry in this film with jokes and Kurt in a dress!

This movie will keep you laughing all the way to the end. I love the whole thing. They should of made a Tango & Cash 2.
It's a must see just like "Rocky" and "Overboard" movies are one of a kind.
