Merry Christmas

I have learned a few thas this year. Never put tinsel on your Christmas tree.  It's a loss cause with kids and cats. Buy batteries before the big day. Putting together a trampoline is harder than it looks. I need to workout some more apparently the trampoline springs clearly won. Don't try and do any kind of flips with a bad back. It hurts a lot.

Kids will always make you laugh.Popsicle has a new take on Santa and the Elves. The story goes the elves make the toys drops them off at Target and Santa picks them up when they are ready for each kid. I guess that works I'll stick with that theory. If you buy a toy car make sure you have 18 hours for the first charge.
A glow in the dark race track must be charged in order to glow. Thanks mom Christopher loves his track and so do the cats.
When buying a game chair and TV for your oldest child check the TV to make sure it has the right ports for the game chair. Justin is in heaven now that he can play his games without his little brother in his face trying to get his attention.  One more thing but not the last check books before you buy more. Just in case you and hubby buys the same one's. Minecraft is still a huge hit after a year.Justin goes through more books in a week then his daddy and I ever have. Not complaining but his books are over taking his room. A new book shelf is now in order to build.
Merry Christmas I know a lot of people want their children to grow up.  Let them be kid's and enjoy Christmas let them believe in Santa. Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there.
Seeing isn't believing, believing is seeing!  Don't take their childhood away to soon.

Sunday Workout

Round one
10 pushups
15 burpees
90 Russian twist
15 kettle ball squats
Round Two
25 squats
20 lunges per side
40 jumping jacks
60 seconds wall sit
Good luck let me know how you do. Push through the pain you will thank yourself in the end. The hardest part about getting fit is telling yourself you can do it. Positive thinking will change who you are. You have the control over what your life will be. You alone can change your body if you want. Take little steps if you want it you can have it. Remember this is only ten percent of the rest of your life the hard part is controlling what you put in your mouth.

Green Beans Coffee

It's that time of year to send our Troops some coffee. It's something small but makes the biggest splash for our men and women in uniform. I have slowly taken out coffee from my diet that doesn't stop me from buying it for family member's who drink more then they should.

$2 = 1 Cup of Joe

  • Click on the link above  make someone smile today. You might even get an email that is the best part for my oldest. This will make three years of us donating to Green Beans Coffee. He still acts like it was his first email ever.
Merry Christmas to all who can't be with their families. Thank You for all that you have sacrifice for our country.

    Cats,Kids, and Water

My household is full of crazy insane kids who take baths with our kitten Godzilla. He sits in the tub to my surprise he swims around. He will also sit in my stand up shower at the end while I take a shower. He is weird for a cat. Now he has discover the toilet and toilet paper. Both bathrooms looks like a tornado went by daily. I'm working on that problem as we speak. The paper is all over. Christopher was going to the bathroom when Godzilla thought it would be a great ideal to jump in the toilet face first. I had to give him a bath which in return he acted like he hated the water. I would have never guessed. Along with that he will jump up on the table to steal the kids food or whatever is on their plate. I don't remember my other cat Mickey losing her mind when she was three months old. My hubby spoiled him rotten in order to get him to calm down you have to pick him up and rock him to sleep. What? He sits by the back door then proceeds to Meow as loud as he can. At what I'm not sure Justin has taken it upon himself to take him to the litter box thinking that he might have to go to the bathroom. That only worked for a minute then he goes back to following us around talking until we pick him up. My kids are running around or running away from the cats who by the way love to play hide and seek. I should just get a baby carrier then have the boys carry him. He is such a baby but takes great pictures!
Look at that face he is cute. He definitely fits his name.

    28 cents

I always express to my children how  seeing a smile will change your day. Today was one of those days for Justin.  He went to the Santa Shop at school yesterday. He donated ten dollars to the school shop.  They didn't have a clue what to do with the donation. He had to talk to three different people in order to find out how he could do it. That took me by surprise. How could they not know? Clearly this was the first donation ever. Justin spoke very clear he wanted it to go to a kid who wanted to buy something but couldn't.
One of the Teachers that worked the shop found Justin to tell him that a child in kindergarten came in with 28 pennies later that day.  He didn't have enough to buy anything but with the money Justin donated he was. He left the Santa Shop with a SMILE!  It brought tears to my eyes as my eleven year old son told the story. His eyes filled as well. My son paid it forward today. Here is another step to making a difference.

    Letters for Abbie

The boys and I made cards for Addie and her family. It has to be one of the hardest things to do is knowing your child won't make another Christmas. It makes me sad just thinking about it. I know I have a few followers if you could pass this around.  That would make this family happy.  Here are the boys cards so far.
If you don't have a child get your niece, nephew or god child to help you out with this Christmas wish.

    Giving Tree

It's getting harder each year to help out without giving away what the giving tree means. I had Christopher pick a card off of the tree. It was for a little girl who is four years old who likes monster high dolls, anything frozen and Doc McStuffins. This is what he picked out. Not bad for being little. I thought it would be hard to explain to him that the toys were not for him. We had a little bump in the road but overall I think he had fun when it came time to wrap the gifts.
Justin also picked a card for a ten year old girl. He didn't look at the card until we made it to the car.
She asked for make-up, nail art and nail polish. I have boys I have no ideal what to get a ten year old little girl. We stopped a lady at the store who happen to have two granddaughter's who was able to help us out. I wasn't the girly girl growing up. I didn't start wearing make up till after my first child. Even now it's not much just a little eye liner, eye shadow and mascara if that. I think ten is to young for make up but that's why I don't have a daughter. We have a few more things to get her before we wrap it up. Justin was funny in the store he just went to the first thing he saw and put it in the cart. We still have some more shopping to do for toys for tots next weekend. I love this time of year helping people is the best gift I can show or give my boys. Please help out if you can. It will make someone smile.

30 days Do you have what it takes?

December is the last month let's make it worth it. Take on this 30 day challenge with me.  Fitness is a Life Journey. Remember it will take time.  You will have bad days don't give up.  Eat healthy stay calm it will work if you want it to.  Let the fun start.
Day one is over remember abs are made in the kitchen not in the gym. This counts for a small part. Don't let your hard work go to waste. Make it mean something.
    Good Luck!
