Homemade Beauty Secrets

Here are a few quick tips for all the ladies who spend way to much on makeup. Did you know the average woman spends about two thousand dollars a year on makeup? I don't think I have ever spent that much on makeup in my life. I'm more of go all natural kind of look. I do use mascara, lip gloss and eye shadow person but not all the time. It takes me about three in a half months to go though mascara even longer on lip gloss. To be safe I will toss them every four months.

Lip Gloss
Take your left over eye shadow you have or those samples you pick up from time to time. Add some vaseline and BAM you have homemade lip gloss. How great is that?

Dry Shampoo
I have tried this a few times I didn't care to much for it. Dry shampoo is a in between for washes.  If you use it this product can become a big expense. Try this and compare it to the store brand. Take baking soda, baking powder, and cornstarch together put it in a shaker and shake onto your roots.

Bronzer
This is one product that I do use in all year round. Take a little cinnamon or cocoa powder mix with baby powder. To get a darker shade just add a little more of the cinnamon or cocoa powder which ever one you decided to use. The plus side is that my hubby tells me he can't stay away I smell too sweet.

Toner
Take some rose petals in a pot boil them for a minute or so. Strain the petals leaving the water. Poor it in a spray bottle. It's great to use to set your makeup or just after you get out of the shower. I have used it to spray on my bed linens. The smell is amazing. Toner returns your skin's pH back to normal.

Face wash
It has been about three weeks that I have traded in my apricot scrub for a baking soda scrub. All you do is take a handful of baking soda before I get in the shower with a little bit of water enough to make a paste. I will coat my face wait 30 seconds and rinse. I find it easier to rinse it off in the shower because it can get messy. It will make your pores much smaller. It will also give you a healthy glow. If you have other homemade beauty secrets don't be shy share them with a comment.

Savannah Cat

Watch "A Beautiful Relationship - Savannah Cat MAGIC and Andreas Stucki." on YouTube

This cat in the video above is the size of a small dog. My hubby and I have been looking at getting one in the near future.

A Savannah cat is a cross between a domestic cat and the Serval, a medium-sized, large-eared wild African cat. The only problem I guess I have with this cat is becoming dinner. It's huge compare to my cat now. We are talking about taking a trip to Oklahoma. We have found a breeder there. Justin is in love with this cat as well as my hubby. After Christopher was born they were trying to talk me into getting a tiger.  I'm glad this cat is far away on top of that you have to jump though some small hoops for this cat. Otherwise it would have been a total impulse buy. Do you have a Savannah Cat?

Circus In Tampa

IMAG0191.jpg
Ringling Bros B&B Circus came to town. It was the first time as a family to visit it. It was a wonderful time. I haven't had so much fun in my life. It was very different from the small ones that were back home. It cost $155.00 for a family of four Christopher was free plus parking. The place was packed full of life. I still can't believe we spent more on food and drinks then we did on tickets. It's insane but well worth it. The cotton candy was delicious! My hubby came back with a sub that tasted like a Sloppy Joe without the Joe. Christopher ran back and fourth between the seat laughing at nothing and dancing. He has music in his soul!

The Acrobatics were extraordinary the best I have seen yet. Some well most of everything they did at the circus put me on the edge of my seat. The only part I really didn't care for was the tiger part. Don't get me wrong the tigers are beautiful especially the white tigers.

I don't think yelling at the tigers swinging a whip in front of their face is something to cheer about. Yet, I paid to see it along with everyone else. If you stop to think about it for a second I guess it's up there on the scale of being cruel! Which I am not so I didn't get into that part of the show. It's neat to see how they black out parts of the ice rink to set up the next act. Justin was amazed by the whole thing. Christopher only sat still for the glowing necklace we gave him. If I would have remember to grab the glowing hair and toys from New Years Eve we would have save some money not like a ten dollar necklace was going to set us back. From all the pictures we paid for with the food we spent more then our share.

Here are my men happy as can be. They were nothing but a bunch of silliness that night. My hubby looks like the choo choo soul guy from Disney. He is too sexy! Our drive home wasn't far maybe ten minutes tops. We were all thinking we had an hour just a guess. If you have ever been to anything in Detroit you know what I mean. We also had a well deserved date night after we put our boys to bed. We rented the movie "LOOPER" With Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt it was about time travel and yes that is all I will say. This was a movie that will make your head spin with what time travel can do. It's a must watch on my list or a more like a Needham approval.(laughing)

If you want to have some good family time make sure you hit up the Circus when it comes to your town. Until next time have a great night to all my wonderful reader's.
