National Coffee Day

Today is National Coffee Day! Are you one of the millions who will celebrate? Start by sending a free Coffee Day eCard and then find out where you can go to get a free cup of Joe. Some local and national businesses will offer free or discounted cups of coffee in honor of the occasion. Participating Krispy Kreme locations, for example, are offering a free 12oz cup of coffee all day long. McDonalds's is giving away free cups of McCafe Premium Roast. Don't forget to pay attention to social media as some businesses plan to share coupons and specials with their loyal followers.
So, where did coffee come from and how did it become so popular? According to legend, a sixth-century Ethiopian goatherd named Kaldi discovered his goats frolicking from one coffee shrub to another. He recognized that the coffee berries they were eating had a stimulating effect, and he began to experiment with the seeds. A century later, brewed coffee emerged in Arabia and the popularity of coffee grew at an exponential rate.
Today, over 400 billion cups of coffee are consumed each year. It is a world commodity that is second only to oil. Don't forget to take a coffee break (or two) to celebrate this historical and important beverage!

Act's of Kindness

                                                        Justin's act's of kindness
My son Justin loves to help other's out in any way he can. We sat up the other night to surf the web of things he could do to make someone smile. Here is his list of things.

1.Justin and I decide to make a list of things to do for others. We made some cupcakes to pass out to the mailman with a little note saying thank you for delivering our mail. It made him smile.

2.We seen this old man cleaning his yard. Justin made him two peanut butter and jelly's and took him out two bottles of water. It made him really happy. He talks to Justin all the time now. Justin even helped bag some of the leaves to give him a break.
3.We have made it an everyday thing to support our troops. We made some happy by buying them coffee through www.greenbeanscoffee.org At least they can have a piece of home away from home.

4.At a local grocery store Justin went around the parking lot to collect the carts for the workers.

5.Justin tape some change to a game machine with a note to pay it forward.

6.We also wrote some letter's to children in the hospital.

7. We donated to charity with blankets we no longer need along with the boys clothes that are to
small. This was just the start my hubby and I need to go through our closets still.

 8. Justin talked me into giving Christopher old stroller we no longer use to a teen mom.

9. On one of walks we heard a kitten crying. Justin was able to get this tiny kitten out from under a house who he named Mickey. She is well and about four weeks old. Justin and I take turns feeding her with a medicine dropper. Today she just started eating dry food.

10. Justin gives a  bag full of shredded paper away that we would normal just take to the recycling center. Instead we found out the little girl down the street has a hamster but can't afford to go to the pet store for the bedding. Instead she comes up to the office for the shredded paper every week.

11.Justin thought it would be a great idea to buy Halloween tote bags for all the children in the area who don't have bags to go treat or treating.

I found that it is very simple to make someone smile everyday. Justin wakes up asking "So mom who will we make smile today?"
Steve has taking the boat out with Justin and friends to catch fish for a fish fry on Saturday to help raise money for our neighbor's who's house burned down. I think it will go well. What have you done today to make a smile appear? It's as easy as saying hello to someone.

Father & Son Bonding time

 A Father's Love
A father is respected because
he gives his children leadership...
appreciated because
he gives his children care...
valued because
he gives his children time...
loved because
he gives his children the one thing
they treasure most - himself.

                                                  Father & Son Bonding Time

The most important thing a little boy needs is a father in his life. Someone to be there for him. Someone to tell him he can do it. Someone to show him how to shave. Take care of his duties as a man. Someone who works hard at everything in life. Someone who treats his wife like the Mexican Queen that I am. A father who can be emotionally available to his children will be the one who knows when his sons needs him. My hubby makes our children talk their emotions out. He never raises his voice to intimated our kids he has a soft voice to help them understand how they feel. Nothing our children say is bad we put their emotional needs first. What they need is Daddy to be there. My hubby takes time out to always put our boys first. I love watching Justin and Christopher attack him as he walks in the door. Jay is attached to his hip as Christopher is attached to his leg. My hubby puts them first in everything he does. I'm happy I made the right choice in a man who loves our boys more then his life itself. My hubby is not forced to spend time with our children, he does it because he wants to. My hubby's face lights up every time he hears daddy and the boys attack him. Having children really changes the way you think and feel. My hubby's smile can light up the room  when our boys run after him. It doesn't matter what is planned he always has time to play Lego's with Justin and dino's with Christopher. I love the fact I married a man with a great heart and soul. Someone who values family as much as I do. I'm very happy for the life God has given me. A man who will stand by me no matter what. The best  father to our children a woman could ever ask for.

This is the shark they caught but let go. Hearing Justin talk about his daddy holding a shark was priceless. It's clear that daddy is his hero!
