Here are a few quick tips for all the ladies who spend way to much on makeup. Did you know the average woman spends about two thousand dollars a year on makeup? I don't think I have ever spent that much on makeup in my life. I'm more of go all natural kind of look. I do use mascara, lip gloss and eye shadow person but not all the time. It takes me about three in a half months to go though mascara even longer on lip gloss. To be safe I will toss them every four months.
Lip Gloss
Take your left over eye shadow you have or those samples you pick up from time to time. Add some vaseline and BAM you have homemade lip gloss. How great is that?
Dry Shampoo
I have tried this a few times I didn't care to much for it. Dry shampoo is a in between for washes. If you use it this product can become a big expense. Try this and compare it to the store brand. Take baking soda, baking powder, and cornstarch together put it in a shaker and shake onto your roots.
Bronzer
This is one product that I do use in all year round. Take a little cinnamon or cocoa powder mix with baby powder. To get a darker shade just add a little more of the cinnamon or cocoa powder which ever one you decided to use. The plus side is that my hubby tells me he can't stay away I smell too sweet.
Toner
Take some rose petals in a pot boil them for a minute or so. Strain the petals leaving the water. Poor it in a spray bottle. It's great to use to set your makeup or just after you get out of the shower. I have used it to spray on my bed linens. The smell is amazing. Toner returns your skin's pH back to normal.
Face wash
It has been about three weeks that I have traded in my apricot scrub for a baking soda scrub. All you do is take a handful of baking soda before I get in the shower with a little bit of water enough to make a paste. I will coat my face wait 30 seconds and rinse. I find it easier to rinse it off in the shower because it can get messy. It will make your pores much smaller. It will also give you a healthy glow. Thank you for sharing at the hop xo
Thanks for sharing the homemade tips. I personally prefer to use such but some times they smell odd and after using them, its must to take shower. for example for shinny, strong and soft hairs, i put the egg yolk along with mustard oil in my hairs and after 2 hours or so i do shampoo and conditioner, but still hairs smell egg. Only the second wash completely help me to get rid of smell.
Like wise, for cleanser, i put few drops of lemon in milk to cleanse the face. Raw milk is also the best cleanser.
Bronzer sounds very interesting, but Dry Shampoo... i am not sure about.
Toner from Rose petals i am using already.
white sugar with olive oil can be good body scrub too.
I spray bit of perfume on my hair brush and then use it in my hairs to avoid washing them daily and at the same time to smell good :)
I won't use egg either it leaves you smelling like a walking egg.lol thanks for reading I will try the body scrub that sounds like fun.
